The Jesse and Francis Hickey Land family reunion is planned for Saturday, July 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Fredonia Community Center. Everyone is invited to join the fun with pictures and memories.TS26

The community choir will be singing at the Sequatchie County Fellowship of Churches Fourth of July service on Sunday, July 2 at the high school auditorium at 6:00 p.m. The choir will be singing In God We Trust (music by Russell Mauldin of Brentwood/Benson Publishing Company). Rehearsals will be held June 26 and 27 at 6:00 p.m. and on June 28 at 6:45 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The Sequatchie County Veterans Memorial Park office will be closed the week of July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The office will reopen the week of July 10. Normal office hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Office phone number is 949-9000. Names are still being taken for engraving on the veterans wall and memorial bricks.
