Pruning and care workshop to be held Feb. 25

A workshop on grapevine pruning and care will be held Saturday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. Participants will learn proper pruning techniques, how to provide proper support for the vines, how to propagate new vines from the pruning and general care throughout the year in terms of cultural practices and pest control. Charge for the class and handouts is a $5 donation, or $15 for the class, handouts and cuttings to propagate new vines. All proceeds benefit the Fredonia Community Center.
