Hike Against Hunger held at Savage Gulf
Hike Against Hunger, a ranger-led 4.2 mile hike on the Savage Day Loop Trail, will be held Friday, November 25 to raise donations and funds for the Sequatchie County Food Bank. Participants will learn about the history of the area and the plants and animals that make a home on the Southern Cumberland Plateau and visit Rattlesnake Point, a beautiful overlook of Savage Gulf. Everyone will meet at the Savage Gulf Ranger Station, 3157 SR 399, in Palmer. Hike begins at 10:00 am CST.
