The Dunlap Lions Club is sponsoring its second annual Wayne Reynolds Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 1 at Mt. Airy Golf Course in Dunlap. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., with shotgun tee time at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee is $300 for each 4-person team and includes greens fees, lunch, a goody bag and golf cart. Sequatchie Valley Community Band practice is held the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the middle school band room. This is a concert band and open to anyone in the valley or surrounding area who plays a wind or percussion instrument. All experience levels are welcome. The car show benefiting the Sequatchie County Veterans Memorial Park has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sequatchie County High School. The Dunlap Lions Club is having Trivia Night on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Pizza King. Cost is $5 per person. There will be teams (3-6 people) and individual games. The Dunlap Lions Club will host a family and friends trivia night at Pizza King on June 18 at 6:00 p.m. Players can win cash prizes and bragging rights. The Lady Force basketball team is holding a carwash fundraiser from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Mountain Valley Bank in Dunlap on Wednesday, June 19. Money raised benefits the team’s expenses. T25

The monthly meeting of the Sequatchie County Fair will be held Thursday, June 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the fair building on Heard Street. T25S26

   The 18:28 Ministry and Ewtonville Baptist Church will be holding a summer ice cream social on Sunday, June 30 at the church’s gym. The social will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a concert at 6:00 p.m. The 18:28 ministry is a local youth performance group consisting of girls from different churches who perform to Christian music in the dark using black lights to highlight hand and prop movements. The ministry is named after Psalm 18:28. Everyone is invited. T26
