The annual Green family reunion will be held Sunday, September 2 at the Dunlap Coke Ovens Park. Friends and family of P.A Green Sr., Elizabeth Land Green and Mary Blanch Minton Green are invited to attend. A covered dish meal will be shared at 12:30 p.m. CST. Cartwright Church of God is having homecoming services on Sunday, September 2 with Evangelist Bobby G. Scott preaching. Trisha Denton will be singing old time gospel. Everyone is invited. T35

The Sequatchie Valley Missions Rally 2018 will be held Tuesday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Jasper. Breakout sessions will be led by the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. Special speakers will be Steve Pearson for men, Denise Bronaugh for ladies, Beth Moore for youth and leaders, and Yolanda Heuser for children and leaders. WorldCrafts will be for sale or order by Alyson Riley to benefit Champion Commons. Everyone is welcome. A nursery will be provided upon request. CHI Memorial’s mobile health coach will provide mammography screenings at Healthforce Primary Care Clinic (16740 Rankin Avenue in Dunlap) on Wednesday, September 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Those with insurance must have their insurance card and a photo ID, such as a driver’s license. Insurance will be filed for you. Those without insurance may qualify for financial assistance. Women also need to know their doctor’s first and last name.
