American Legion Post 190, Dunlap, holds its monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of each month. The executive committee meets at 5:00 p.m. and the general business meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Legion Hall on Fredonia Road. All members are encouraged to attend. Any veteran interested in joining the American Legion or learning more about the organization and the benefits of membership is encouraged to attend a general business meeting. Sequatchie Valley Community Band practice is held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Sequatchie County Middle School band room. This is a concert band and is open to anyone in the valley or surrounding area who plays a wind or percussion instrument. All experience levels are welcome.
