Caring Hearts United, a non-profit organization which assists hospice units in Warren and surrounding TN counties, will be hosting their annual fundraiser, Wonderland of Trees, November 11-November 18, 2017 at Three Star Mall in McMinnville, TN.
The event showcases fully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, donated by area businesses and individuals for silent auction. Live entertainment at the center stage in the mall and children’s activities are also a part of this event.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW, is celebrating its 118th anniversary on Friday, September 29. Members of the Sequatchie County Memorial VFW Post 5772 will be at Tractor Supply that day to help celebrate VFW Day and talk about the work of the VFW, both locally and throughout the organization. The nation’s oldest major veterans’ organization, the VFW was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1899 by 13 veterans of the 17th Infantry Regiment who fought on Cuba during the Spanish-American War. Initially called the Veterans of Foreign Service, it merged with two other veterans’ associations in 1914 to form the VFW, which now totals 1.7 million members. TS39
