Country musician Jeff Bates has been added to the line-up at the second annual Oktoberfest event in Dunlap, taking place October 6-7 at Harris Park. Bates is set to perform on October 6 at 5:30 p.m. Admission to the festival is free. For more see the September 28 issue of The Dunlap Tribune.

Retired local educator and community volunteer Molly Ann Hamblen was honored as Sequatchie County High School’s 2023 Alumna of the Year before the SCHS football game September 22. Hamblen began teaching in 1962 and retired in 2000. For more see the September 28 issue of The Dunlap Tribune.
