FFA Marketing Team heading to nationals

    A handmade quilt will be given away at the Art and the Library art exhibition that takes place during Valley Fest each year at the City Hall Training Center. Admission to the art show is free, but tickets for the quilt can purchased for $1 each, six for $5 or 25 for $20. Winner need not be present to win. The quilt, designed and created by Holly Scroggin, People’s Choice winner at last year’s Sequatchie County Quilt Show, is 81 inches by 92 inches with a design of books on a shelf. T17-18S18

The show opens May 2, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Dunlap City Training Center with a reception, serving light refreshments. The show will be open May 3 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., May 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and May 5 from noon to 4:00 p.m. The reception and show are free. Although the show is part of Valley Fest, a Valley Fest wristband or entry ticket is not required to visit the art show. BT17-18S18
