Wreck with fatalities on Highway 111

    The Southeast Tennessee Human Resource Agency (SETHRA) is accepting applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The program year begins on October 1, 2019 and will end September 30, 2020. To apply for the program, call the SETHRA office at 949-2191 to schedule an appointment.     On Saturday, October 12, the Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Fire Prevention Open House from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. ET. This event will include a light breakfast, home fire safety and home medical safety information, demonstrations, lunch, and water fun, where participants learn the basics of hose handling, pump operations and incident command, followed by a landing demonstration by Life Force Air Medical.
