Key arrested in school threat, statutory rape

A young Dunlap man accused of making a threat to Sequatchie County High was charged with filing a false report.     VFW meets on third Tuesday of each month

    VFW Post 5772, Dunlap, holds its monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. The executive committee meets at 5:00 p.m. and the general business meeting begins at 6:00. Meetings are held in the Legion Hall on Fredonia Road. All members are encouraged to attend. Any veteran interested in joining the VFW or learning more about the organization and the benefits of membership, is encouraged to attend a general business meeting. TS24

    Community Choir rehearsal dates changed

    The community choir will be singing at the Sequatchie County Fellowship of Churches Fourth of July service on Sunday, July 2 at the high school auditorium at 6:00 p.m. The choir will be singing In God We Trust (music by Russell Mauldin of Brentwood/Benson Publishing Company). Rehearsals will be held Tuesday, June 20 at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21 at 6:45 p.m., and Friday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
