    Youth football camp set

    The Sequatchie County Indians youth football camp for ages 5-14 will be held May 1-4 at the high school football stadium from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day. Sign-up sheets and a $40 fee can be turned in at the main office at Griffith Elementary or the middle school. Each camper will receive a Sequatchie County Football t-shirt. SCHS Football Coach Adam Caine and his staff will be teaching the fundamentals of football. Deadline to register is Friday, April 28. T17

    National Day of Prayer at Ewtonville

    Ewtonville Baptist Church of Dunlap will be observing the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4. Prayer time will begin in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch in the Family Life Center.     The Women of WCOG (Whitwell Church of God) are planning a women’s conference “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” on Saturday, May 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Special speaker will be Vickie Henderson of Chattanooga.
