Chance sighting leads to scenes filmed at Coke Ovens

Vice Mayor Johnson passes away

Jeff B. Johnson, Vice-Mayor of Dunlap and member of the Dunlap City Commission, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 8. Johnson, 46, was Senior Vice-President and Chief Lending Office of Mountain Valley Bank and was active in a number of community organizations.     Youth football camp set

    The Sequatchie County Indians youth football camp for ages 5-14 will be held May 1-4 at the high school football stadium from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day. Sign-up sheets and a $40 fee can be turned in at the main office at Griffith Elementary or the middle school. Each camper will receive a Sequatchie County Football t-shirt. SCHS Football Coach Adam Caine and his staff will be teaching the fundamentals of football. Deadline to register is Friday, April 28. T17
