    Reverse Mortgages is topic at FCE meetings

      The Basics of Reverse Mortgages will be the topic at the March meetings of the local Family and Community Education (FCE) meetings. Family and Community Education is an organization of volunteers who work together to build strong families and communities. Meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are scheduled for March 2 at the UT Extension office at 4:30 p.m.; March 14 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m.; March 16 at the Cagle Community Center at 11:00 a.m.; and March 27 at the Lone Oak Community Center at noon EST.     On Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m., the Mountain Arts Community Center is offering a free epilepsy awareness workshop led by the Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee. During the workshop, videos will be viewed showing some of the most common types of seizures, epilepsy “myths and truths” will be explored, participants will be instructed on life-saving seizure first-aid techniques, reducing triggers will be discussed, and more. Hours are Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A wide variety of books will be available, including recently released novels, coffee table books and more.
