Mechanic charged with theft of transmission

Dunlap mechanic and business owner Richard E. Binney, 58, was charged with theft May 3 following an investigation by local authorities. Binney, owner of Richard’s Service Center on Rankin Avenue, reportedly failed to replace a transmission after a vehicle was brought in for service.     Order of Eastern Star having yard sale
