Cherokee Chapter 301 Order of the Eastern Star Official will have a yard sale featuring Christmas decorations and other items on Saturday, November 4 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The sale will be held in the parking lot of Landon Greer’s dental office, located at 16018 Rankin Avenue in Dunlap.

Lee Station Baptist Church is planning the following activities in October and November:

•Fifth Sunday Singing – Mt. Airy Baptist and Lee Station Baptist, Sunday, October 29 at 5:00 p.m. for a fellowship meal, followed by the singing at 6:00.

•Thanksgiving Singing – Sunday, November 5 at 6:00 p.m. with the Morrison Sisters and The Agee Family.

•Youth Service – Sunday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. The Ace Group from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Whitwell will be leading worship and Addison Cordell, a member of the group, will be preaching.

Old Timers Day at Cagle Community Church is planned for Sunday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. with special singers, The Morrison Sisters. The church will also be honoring veterans. Lunch is at noon. The church is located on Hwy. 8 and 111. Pastor Darrell Nance and congregation invite everyone.
