    A series on Islamic Terrorism in America is being held at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church on Thursday nights. The DVD series is taught by Kamal Saleem, who was sent to America in the 80’s by the Muslim Brotherhood to infiltrate American society with the goal of ultimately converting America to Islam. Through a divine encounter, Saleem was converted from Islam to Christianity and he now tells others about his conversion, the Islamic invasion in America and their plan for the United States. Also joining Saleem is Retired Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin, expert in Islamic terrorism. Pastor Kevin Benoit and the congregation invite everyone to attend. Marla King, an education advisor with EOC, who formerly assisted students at the Chattanooga State Sequatchie/Bledsoe campus, will now be scheduling appointments at the Sequatchie County/Dunlap Chamber of Commerce on Thursdays, by appointment, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. General education courses are offered at both Sequatchie and Bledsoe County High Schools. The center serves Bledsoe, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion and Sequatchie counties, and can assist with adult high school completion programs, choosing a college and a major, filing for FAFSA, searching for scholarships and grants, and overcoming federal student loan default.     American Legion Post 190, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5772 and the Sequatchie County Veterans Memorial Park will hold Veterans Day ceremonies on Saturday, November 11. A brief ceremony will begin at the courthouse at 9:30 a.m., and at 10:00 a.m. the parade will leave the courthouse and proceed to the Veterans Memorial Park for ceremonies at 11:00 a.m. The Boy Scouts will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony at the conclusion of the Veterans Day event.
