Jarrett Flynn, 39, of Plain City, Ohio, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on January 28, 2024 after a three-year battle with cancer. He was born on July 13, 1984 in Altamont, Tennessee to Dewayne and Shelia Flynn.
Jarrett was raised in Dunlap, where he graduated from Sequatchie County High School in 2003. He was a proud member of the Ohio Military Reserve and later went on to college to study business administration, where he received his associate degree. Jarrett was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed spending his free time hunting. He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Sue Harmon, as well as his grandfather, Tony Flynn.
Jarrett is survived by his parents, Dewayne and Shelia Flynn; his beloved wife, Jen; his beautiful children, Harper and Mason; grandmother, Maudie Flynn; his close aunt and uncle, Donna and Sonny Kustes; and many more extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services for Jarrett were held Saturday, February 3 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Darrell Nance officiating. Burial followed in Cagle – Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
