Merrell Elizabeth Hundley Cordell

Merrell Elizabeth Hundley Cordell, 87, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on June 13, 2021.

She was a member of Red Bank Church of Christ. She was an electronic printer at Provident for 20 plus years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, bird watching and cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hanson Cordell; parents, Marvin and Arby Hundley; brothers, Arval Hundley and Tommy Hundley; sisters, Alta Hundley Howard and Arthell Hundley.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Johnson, Ooltewah, Susan McNabb, Chattanooga, and Rebecca (Lynn) Hicks, Dunlap; grandchildren, Sharon (David) Rawiszer, Ashley Johnson, Matt McNabb, Megan (Kyle) Johnston, Alaina (Ryan) Thomas and Maura Hicks; three great-grandchildren; sister, Bea Moore of Huntsville, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 17 from noon to 1:00 p.m.
