Lee Andrew Skyles

Lee Andrew Skyles, 79, passed away at his home on June 10, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He blessed us with his musical talents and served as a preacher and song leader throughout his life. He loved the Lord. He attended Grace Bible Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Skyles; daughter, Marala Skyles; son, Johnny Skyles; granddaughter, LaShea Skyles; mother and father, Otto and Mattie Skyles; sisters, Nellie Lusk, Dottie Brackett, Wanda Hourigan and Mildred Westmorland; and brothers, Homer and George Boston and Gordan Skyles.

He is survived by his daughter, Rowena (Trent) Burtrum; grandsons, Heath and Brett Skyles; granddaughter, Shelby Burtrum; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, William and Alyssa Skyles and Caden Burtrum; sister, Carolyn Clark; brothers, Tommy and Junior Skyles; and brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Janice) Harvey.

Lee loved everyone he met and everyone that met him loved him. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He served as Constable for the 3rd District for 12 years, a job he dearly loved.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 14 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Mille and Rev. Jeff Smith officiating.
