McGuffee denied graduation inclusion

Most high school seniors anticipate their graduation night for years, as it marks a conclusion and as a continuation into the world. Sequatchie County High School graduate Kendal McGuffee was unable to do so, her mother says, due to excessive requirements on graduation practice.

Her mother, April Davis said beginning in February, she began having discussions with SCHS Principal Regina Belknap on the situation. The trouble began, Davis continued, due to graduation practice falling on the same date as the competition.
