Farley charged in drug death
Taylor Brent Farley, 20, has been charged with second degree murder in the 2020 death of Garrett Layne Castle, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) announced May 25. Farley was indicted on the charge by the Sequatchie County Grand Jury May 24. Castle’s cause of death was determined to be fentanyl toxicity, the TBI reported, with Farley allegedly providing the drugs to Castle. Several agencies were involved in the case, including TBI, Dunlap Police Department, and Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department. For more on this story, see the June 3 issue of The Dunlap Tribune.
