Michael L. Long, 48, passed away November 7, 2019 at home with his loving wife, Elizabeth, by his side. He had a three-year hard-fought battle with colon cancer.
He was born December 6, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona. At age seven, his family relocated to Fredonia Mountain, Tennessee.
He wanted to serve his country and enlisted in the USAF and served from 1996-2000. He was stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He had been assigned to Cheyenne Mountain for his duration. Michael was a senior programmer analyst (remote) for Wal-Mart Corporate in Bentonville, Arkansas since October 2011. He had an exhaustive passion for writing complex code. He loved anything off-road from dirt bikes, ATV to his Jeep. He also loved nature, music, playing guitar and his dogs.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Marsico-Long, of Denison and Squeak.

The family held a private service.
Waldo Funeral Home of Sherman, Texas was in charge of arrangements.
