Betty Boston
Betty Rae Boston, 85, of Dunlap, Tennessee met Jesus face to face Wednesday evening, November 20, 2019.
She treasured her children and family. She loved to share the gospel of Christ and witness to others through word and sending cards. She was a faithful member of East Valley Baptist Church. Her sweet words of love and sincere concern for others were simply put, “Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior?”
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Isaac Boston; parents, Milton and Nannie Helton Holiday; brothers, Melvin and John L. Holiday; sisters, Ruth Copeland, Mary “Liz” Shaffer and Jean Neal; step-children, Wanda Hatfield, Debbie Baggett and Vicki Kilgore.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Alan (Martha) Barker and Terry (Darlene) Barker; daughter, Marilyn (Mike) Shaw; step-children, Craig (Tammy) Boston, Steve and Joel Boston.
She was a loving grandmother to Sarai (Clint) Pierce, Misty (Andy) Norman, Michelle Barker, Sheena Bishop (Cory Pickett), Michael Shaw, Jason Shaw (Karin Gray) and Chris Matherly (Ashton Condra), along with numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Being faithful to her wishes, the family will not host a public service.
An online guestbook is at www.ewtonfuneralhome.com.
Ewton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Dunlap was in charge of arrangements.
