Welcome 127 Yard Sale pickers

Much anticipated by some and dreaded by others, the World’s Longest Yard Sale is back. The six-state, 690-mile sale along U.S. Highway 127 brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to sites along mostly rural routes, allowing them to shop for unique items while generating money for the local economy.

The sale officially runs Thursday, August 1, to Sunday, August 4, this year and traffic in Dunlap is already experiencing an upturn. Despite the inconvenience, many feel the benefits are worth it.
