Overcoming adversity to reopen for the community
Serving the community for over nine years, Serenity Pointe Thrift had been closed since February 23 due to extensive flood-related damages. Heavy, long-lasting rains caused the city’s sewer system to back up, flooding the building on Rankin Avenue in Dunlap.
