Organ recipient encourages organ donations

     While battling auto-immune hepatitis, Sequatchie County resident April Easterly White currently takes nine different medications.

     “They can’t fix the issue without determining exactly why it’s happening,” White said.

     As her fight continues, White has been aided by organ transplants, a procedure Tennessee Donor Services states is greatly needed through the state and nation.
