Brush fire gets away, damages 1800s home

A home built in the late 1800s caught fire Saturday, October 21, and firefighters from multiple area units responded. Damage to the home was estimated at 25 percent, along with some smoke, heat, and water damage, reported Norman Hatfield, Chief of the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD).
