J.D. Cribbs

J. D. Cribbs, Sr., 90, of Dunlap died at his home on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

Mr. Cribbs was preceded in death by his first wife, Earleene Broom Cribbs; five sons, Bobby, Glen, Henry, Jerry and Forrest Cribbs; granddaughter, Shelby Dahlgren; grandson, Geoffery Cribbs; great-grandchildren, Kloie and Kylie Corfitzson; and daughter-in-law, Connie Cribbs.

Survivors include his wife, Melody Parker Cribbs; children, Anita Cribbs, J.D.(Marlene) Cribbs, Jr., Teresa (Alan Jones) Cribbs, Kathy (Roger) Lewis, Horace (Shannon) Cribbs, and Doyle (Arlisa) Cribbs; daughters-in-law, Anna Cribbs, Susie Cribbs, Connie Cribbs, and Vicky Cribbs; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
