Philip Ewton

Phillip Anderson Ewton, 73, of Dunlap, died at his home Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Allie Hoodenpyle Ewton; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Ewton; and sisters, Linda Gail Griffith and Loraine Sanders.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Hankins Ewton; daughters, Tammy (Kenneth) Lawrence and Penny (Lewis) Brewer; sisters, Geneva Skyles, Berma Ray Hale, Emma and Reba Ewton; grandchildren, Phillip William Brewer, Amber Espendoza, Jennifer Murphy, Becky Everett and Jay Reece; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Thursday, November 10 in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Sheldon Barker officiating. The Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department served as pallbearers.
