Jewell Lewis

Jewell Dean Johnson Lewis, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at a local healthcare facility. She was of the Baptist faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Jenny Moffitt Johnson; and sisters, Pauline Sanford and Vestral Cunningham.

Survivors include her children John Terrell “Terry” Turner of Soddy-Daisy, Vestral Denise (Brian D.) Huffine of Dunlap, and Jimmy Randall (Darlene) Lewis of Florida; grandchildren, Sean Turner, of Chicago, Chad Turner, Adam Turner, Jason Huffine, Daniel Huffine, Jeremy Huffine, Jenny Stuart, Asher Lewis, and Lidia Lewis; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial followed in Cagle-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
