Phillip Wayne Moody

Phillip Wayne Moody, age 67, of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his home.  He was born November 1, 1948, in Pikeville, Tennessee, the son of Charles Edward and Anna Iwilla (Hitchcock) Moody.  

Phillip served in the U.S. Army where he received an honorable discharge. He retired from General Motors where he was employed for many years. He will be remembered for being a loyal friend and his love of golf and cooking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Moody.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Moody; beloved mother, Iwilla Moody; former wife, Denise Plaisted; three cousins, Debbie Brown, Rick (Patsy) Brown and B.J. Brown.

The funeral service was held Thursday, March 31 in the funeral home chapel with burial at Pikeville Cemetery.
