Billie D. McGlothen

Billie D. McGlothen, age 84, of Dunlap, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at his home with family and friends by his side. 

He was of the Baptist Faith and a Korean War Veteran where he received his purple heart. He was owner of several businesses in Dunlap over the years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edith Hobbs McGlothen; and brothers, Roy Thomas and Joe Grady McGlothen.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Reta Barker McGlothen; brother, Berlene (JoAnn) McGlothen, Dunlap; sister, Mary Elizabeth Rieske, Fort Myers, Florida; several nieces and nephews;

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 19 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Terry Barker and Rev. Dennis Boston officiating. Burial was in Welch Chapel Cemetery with military honors provided by Vietnam Veterans Chapter 203.
