Mary Reid Smelcer
Mary Reid Smelcer, 86, of Dunlap passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her home. She attended Ewtonville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smelcer; daughter, Rosemary Fowler; son, Mike Sawlsville; and parents, Joseph and Madge Huffstatler Reid.
Survivors include her children, Gene (Mary) Reid of Dunlap, Steve (Kathy) Sawlsville of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, David (Laura) Sawlsville of Rochelle, Illinois, Susie Ewton of Dunlap and Mark (Paula) Smelcer of Hixson; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial as in Old Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network.
