Alberta Raborn

Alberta Hamilton Sims Raborn, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2015. 

She was a member of South Siminole Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, David and Gertrude Smith Hamilton; brother, Bruce Hamilton; and sister, Norma Hamilton.

Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Raborn, Chattanooga; daughter, Myrna Sims, Chattanooga; and son, Michael (Sherry) Sims, Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Blake (Beth) Sims, and Allyson (James) Abbott; four great grandchildren, Cole, Raine, Storm, and Rivers Sims; and several cousins and friends. 

A private burial was held at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Scott Reed officiating. Pallbearers were George Hamilton, Ricky Layne, Tom Condra, James Condra, Ben Condra, and Dale Bryant. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 196 East Valley Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397 or Midland Heights Baptist Church, 2706 Midland Rd., Shelbyville, TN 37160.
