Lurie Johnson, Jr.

Lurie Johnson Jr., 61, of Pikeville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his home. He was of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Junior Johnson; parents, Lurie and Mary Rose Louallen Johnson; grandson, Jacob Johnson; and brother, Carl Johnson.

He is survived by two sons, Herbert (Amanda) Johnson of Gouverneur, New York and Matthew Johnson; one daughter, Rebecca Johnson; several grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie and Jackie Johnson, both of Dunlap; several nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 12 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Collier Cemetery.
