Geneva Easterly

Hallie Geneva Easterly, 81, of Dunlap entered into rest Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Mrs. Easterly was born in Dunlap and was a native of Sequatchie County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mildred Brown; son, Roger L. Easterly; and sister Charlene Teague. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles M. Easterly Sr. of Dunlap; sons, Charles “Bo” (Denise) Easterly, Leroy Easterly, David (Misty Smith) Easterly; all of Dunlap; daughters, Kay Easterly, Michaelene (Kirk) Rogers, and Janice Easterly, all of Dunlap, Joyce (Ben) Harwood of Pikeville, and Charlotte (John) O’Barr, of Chattanooga; sisters, Danna Chambers of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Rosa Cartwright of Dunlap; brother, Charles Lee Brown of Whitwell; 27 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 26 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Rogers Cemetery.
