Terry Rogers

James Terry Rogers, 75, of Dunlap died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 5, 2015.

He was a 1959 graduate of Sequatchie County High School and attended Cartwright Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Oscar and Polly Smith Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Jones Rogers of Whitwell; son, James “Jimbo” (Sherrie) Rogers of Whitwell; daughter, Shannon (Daniel) Mears of Whitwell; one sister, Ginger Morrison of Dunlap; one brother, Marvin (Linda Faye) Rogers of Dunlap; three grandchildren, Ansley Mosier, McKenzie and Warren Rogers; four step-grandchildren, Zack and Crystal Mears and Zahra and Guy Hansard.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Helenthal officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network.
