Patsy Frizzell

Patsy Smith Tate Frizzell, 78, of Dunlap, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. 

She was a retired circuit court clerk with twenty years of service and previously served as a county commissioner. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tate; daughter, Robyn Johnson; parents, Curtis Smith and Johnnie Young Fabricious; brothers, Jimmy Smith and Donnie Smith; grandson, Jason Johnson; and great-grandson, Jason Johnson Jr.

Survivors include her son, Kent (Lynn) Tate, Knoxville; sisters, Peggy Womac, Evergreen, Colorado, Sharon (Johnny) Cordell, Dunlap, and Deane (David) Barker, Dunlap; brother, Curtis (Debra) Smith, Dunlap; grandchildren, Charlotte Redwine, Rocky Face, Georgia, and Jerrett Tate, Whitwell; great-grandchildren, Grayson Tate, Whitwell, and Kylie Greene, Rocky Face.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Freddie Clayton officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery.
