Edward Snyder

    Edward Snyder, age 77, of Lewis Chapel passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Memorial Health Care Center. He was of the Church of God faith and was a school bus driver for Sequatchie County School System for 29 years. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lizzie Snyder; four sisters, Evie Michael, Thelma Stewart, Julie Crow and Nora Snyder; five brothers, Riley, Marshall, Melvin, Jasper and Samuel Snyder.

   He is survived by his wife, Girtie Mae Snyder; two daughters, Katherine Snyder and Kay Snyder; three sons, Howard (Lori), Greg and Troy (Janet) Snyder, all of Lewis Chapel; five grandchildren, Brandy, Webster, Nicholas, Mitchell and Katie Snyder; sister, Norma Jean Snyder, Dunlap; special little granddaughter, Hannah Snyder;  and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were held Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Michael Grant officiating. Burial was in Graham Cemetery.
