James Loyd Songer
James Loyd Songer, 68, of Pikeville died Monday, November 3, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his father, J.M. Songer.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Beulah Songer; children, Jennifer (Paul) Howard of Dunlap and Robby Songer of Pikeville; nine grandchildren, T.J. and Amanda Brown, Jillian and Jacob Brown, Daniel Howard, Austin Songer, Max Songer, Callie Ruth Songer and Joshua Nance; great-grandchildren, Rex Mohler, Weston and Hanson Nance; mother, Maxine Songer; sister, Fay Songer; three brothers, Gary, Jerry and Ricky Songer; special niece, Denisea Mann; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 5, in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Granny Ruth’s Garden.
