Beulah Mae Brown O’Neal

Beulah Mae Brown O’Neal, 90, of Whitwell, left this life and went to be with Jesus on October 13, 2014.

She was born October 28, 1923 to her parents, John B. and Mary Higgins Brown. She was a member of the Sequatchie Valley Church of the Nazarene where she was faithful in attendance. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew O’Neal; brothers,  Chester, John Henry, Ray, Elmer and Paul Brown; sisters, Maggie Jane Brown Hudson and Willie Joe Brown Dyre.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Edward (Mary) O’Neal and John (Sue) O’Neal; grandchildren, Stacy and David Myers,  Steven and Holly O’Neal, Tim and Jeff O’Neal, all of Whitwell; great-granddaughters, Christina and Candace Myers, Madison and Mallory O’Neal; great-grandson, Daniel O’Neal, all of Whitwell; sisters, Pearl Herron of Whitwell and Lula Bell Yates of Rossville, Georgia; her church family who adopted her as Mom; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 15 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John O’Neal and Rev. Johnny Yeoman officiating. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.
