Eva Marriott Scarbrough

Eva Marriott Scarbrough, 91, of Pikeville passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66 and was renowned for her delicious cinnamon rolls.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Houston Johnson and Milton Scarbrough.

Survivors include two sons, Barry (Anita) and Charles (Frankie) Johnson; four daughters, Peggy (Gary) Patton, Liz (Mitchell) Turner, Debbie (Donnie) Pursley, all of  Dunlap, and Cathy Cox of Pikeville; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Eileen), Richard (Joyce) and Stanley (Rita) Marriott, all of Bedford, England.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 27 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial was in Pikeville Cemetery.
