Stella Louise Kilgore Burgess

Stella Louise Kilgore Burgess, 65, of Dunlap died at a Chattanooga hospital Tuesday, July 8, 2014. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Burgess; daughter, Melinda Underhill; and brothers, Johnny Carey and Lester Kilgore. 

Survivors include her mother, Reva Joyce Keener, Dunlap; daughters, Stella Vandergriff and Paula Burgess, both of Hixson, and Flodessa Holloway, Dunlap; son, Robert Brock, Dunlap; brothers, Larson Carey, Paul Carey and Wendell Carey, Dunlap; sister, Vicki Pierce, Crossville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 11 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeremy Byrd officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
