Hugh Kelley Sims
Hugh Kelley Sims, 78, of Signal Mountain passed away Monday, June 9, 2014. He was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and an accomplished guitarist who taught guitar over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Montaye Stephens; parents, Fred and Tressie Sims; brothers, Fred Sims, Jr. and T.L. Sims; father and mother-in-law, Tomie and Mae Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Allie Johnson Sims; brother, Fay Sims; sister, Viva Davis; grandchildren, Ian, Reid and Maddee Stephens; son-in-law, Don Stephens; the family of Tomie and Mae Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 11 in the funeral home chapel with Sam Bollinger officiating. Burial was in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
