Timothy Sherman

Timothy Kirk Sherman, 43, of Palmer passed away Wednesday May 21, 2014 after a two-month battle with colon cancer.  He was employed by Tuftco (TFI) in Palmer and was a member of the Swiss Historical Society and enjoyed searching for Native American artifacts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Scissom Sherman.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Stocker Sherman; father, Bernard (Brenda) Sherman; sons, Robert Alfred and Jacob Osborne Easterly; daughter, Joselyn Ahndra Sherman; brother, Stan (Stefanie) Sherman; sister, Kim (Ed Burde) Tyson; and nephews, Tanner and Lawton Sherman.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 24 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jonathan Hankins officiating. Burial was in the Swiss Colony Cemetery.
