W.C. Blunk

William Chalmers Blunk, 90, of Chattanooga died in a Chattanooga hospital on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Newman Blunk; parents, Chalmers and Alta Able Blunk; brothers, Gary and Richard Blunk; and sister, Gloria Hurndon.

Survivors include a brother, James Blunk of Florida; a sister, Annys Talley of Florida;  nieces, Bonnie Sue Harner of Chattanooga, Patricia Jordan, Faye Porter of Soddy Daisy, Claudia Roller of Florida, Kay Woods of Hixson and Dena Elliott of Rossville, Georgia.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 3 at Cordell Cemetery in Dunlap.
