Billy Joe Ladd

Billy Joe Ladd, 75, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at his home.

He was a well-known chef in the Chattanooga area and was retired from Mtn. City Club. He served in the Army in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beulah Thompson Ladd of Marion County.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Ladd; two children, Tammy Ladd of Diamond Lake, Oregon and Billy Ladd of Dunlap; five stepchildren, Gary (Debbie) Ladd of Sherwood, Oregon, Robin (Will) Rhodes of Dunlap, both adopted, Marty, Terry and Jason Holloway of Georgia; and brothers, Charles (Patsy) Ladd of Rock  Springs and Robert Ladd and wife of Georgia; 12 grandchildren, Billy, Savanah, David, April, Sherakee, Tifany, Linsey, Evie, Natale, Gracie, Hunter and Tanner; and eight great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held.

W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home of Fort Oglethorpe was in charge of arrangements.
