Larry Phipps
Damon Larry Phipps, 70, of Signal Mountain died at his home on Friday, December 5, 2013. He retired from Dupont in 2003.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Bottoms Phipps; and parents, James Damon and Alma Hall Phipps.
Survivors include his children, Larry Jr. (Jane) Phipps of Signal Mountain, Ashley (Brandon) Mink of Bay, Arkansas and Chris Mallet of Chattanooga; three sisters, Debbie (Richard) Worley, Charlotte (Jamie) Stewart and Janice (Stewart) Pickett; brother, Marlon (Leigh-Anne) Phipps, all of Signal Mountain; and three grandchildren, Nickolas, C.J. and Alana.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 10 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Sam Bollinger and minister Freddie Clayton officiating. Burial was in Sloan Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Scott Davis, Paul Hartman, Jerry Johnston, Eric Phipps, Greg Hall and Stanley Nixon.
