Willie Higdon

Willie L.A. “Twig” Higdon, 37, of Dunlap passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was the owner of Git-R-Done Construction.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Cagle Higdon; grandmother, Lucille Cagle; grandfather, Willie Higdon; and step-mother, Marie Higdon.

He is survived by his father, Jerry Higdon of Whitwell; two sisters, Julie (Chris) Thornton and April (John) Anderson, both of Dunlap; fiancé, Pam Newman of Dunlap; nieces and nephews, Destiny (Jonathon) Snyder, Logan Thornton, Dylan (Shelby) Vineyard, John “Quad” Anderson, Shane Anderson and Tori Thornton; step-daughter, Katelynne Newman; step-son, Steven Louallen; grandparents, Josephine Higdon and Lem Cagle; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial was in Hoodenpyle Cemetery.
