Virginia Lee Kerley
Virginia Lee Kerley, 87, of Winchester, formerly of Crossville, passed away on September 12, 2013.
She was born on August 6, 1926 in Dunlap to Charles and Daisy Bumgardener Lockhart and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, canning, quilting, watching TV and gambling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kerley; daughter, Carol Diane Kerley; son, Carl Kerley; brother, David Lockhart; sister, Willavena Lockhart; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, “Nicky” Kerley (Lori) of Winchester and Charles Kerley of Crossville; daughters, Linda Joy Kerley Deleon (Jesse) and Daisy “Dot” Kerley Shevock (William); 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Billy Doyle Lockhart (Jessie).
Funeral services were held Monday, September 16 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Kerley officiating. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Kerley, Joe Shevock, William Kerley, Austin Kozuszek, David Kerley and Doyle Lockhart.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
